About this tool
The Unified Tenant Configuration Management (UTCM) tool enables configuration snapshot capture and drift detection for Microsoft 365 tenants. Create point-in-time snapshots and compare against baselines to detect unauthorized changes.
Currently in preview, UTCM provides the foundation for configuration-as-code workflows and change management processes. Monitor your tenant configuration and receive alerts when drift is detected.
Future capabilities include automated remediation and integration with change management workflows.

Limitations & out-of-scope
Status is `coming-soon` — this runs against Microsoft's own Preview API, and the single scope requested (DeviceManagementConfiguration.Read.All) means this first release covers Intune device-configuration drift only, despite the "Unified" name; Exchange, SharePoint, and Entra ID configuration drift are not yet in scope for this tool as shipped. Snapshot comparison detects drift; it does not remediate or roll back a change.
