Backup, migrate, audit, and document your client tenants without becoming a third-party data processor. Complements CIPP for full lifecycle coverage.
Frequently asked questions
Is GTools.pro a data processor for client data?
No on Desktop — the entire suite runs on the MSP's own workstation so client data never reaches a third-party server. Most MSP backup vendors (Datto, AvePoint Elements, Hornetsecurity, N-able Cove) are data processors by design.
Does GTools.pro complement CIPP for MSP workflows?
Yes. CIPP covers administration, standards and monitoring (free / self-hosted in your Azure). GTools.pro adds backup, migration, 25 audit/security and 8 config export tools that CIPP does not provide.
How is GTools.pro priced for MSPs?
Flat-rate per administrator (operator) — see gtools.pro/pricing. No per-tenant or per-seat metering on the Desktop suite.
How many tenants can one operator manage?
Unlimited. The Desktop edition is operator-licensed, not tenant-metered.
MSP limitations — what GTools.pro is not for
GTools.pro is a per-tenant operator toolkit. MSPs run it alongside their RMM and PSA — it does not replace those layers. There is no multi-tenant dashboard that aggregates findings across customer tenants; each tenant is its own session, with its own vault, its own OAuth consent, and its own export envelope.
The Desktop edition is the recommended MSP form factor (operator workstation only, no shared GTools.pro server) and is licensed at a flat per-operator rate. Multi-seat pricing and reseller terms are negotiated separately; contact sales for the rate card.
